| 2461.Christina & Cory Working HardFriday Cory & Christina were here for a working visit. These are a few pictures from that day and some pictures also of Candy. While in Mexico for Gary & Susana's wedding, Cory bought a wooden chest for Christina and one on a pedestal for me. I get to paint them and am trying to choose colors, so I did one on a sketch pad. Also included are photos I took today of a patio that I'm proud to see, as you can see the sun is shining brightly. | |

| 2463.Halloween BackdropHere is the Halloween backdrop I and my classmate, Kaylie Holt, painted with help from our instructor, Jeff Locke, for Walgreen's so they could take photos of little "goblins" for Halloween. I designed the scene, and we used a projector to make it show up on a sage green sheet. We used black markers to outline the design, then we painted it with acrylic paints. | |

| 2465.Texas 2010I drove to Texas on Monday, August 2, 2008. My trip South on Hwy 69 was uneventful until I got to McKinney, Texas. I had intended to turn West on 380, but there was highway construction in this area, and I missed my turn. See photos of my trip. | |

| 2468.CINCO DE MAYO AT SALUDOpening up the night was Tucson's own Suerte Band, followed by Jay Perez who was accompanied by members of both, Suerte and Los Gallagos.
Music by one of Tucson's favorites, Los Gallegos, closed out the night's festivities.
This was Salud's very first Cinco De Mayo celebration. We look forward to more in the coming years! | |
