2452.Fort Scott Fire Damage
Downtown Fort Scott, Kansas survived a fire of devastating proportions on March 12, 2005.  We watched from our front porch where we could see the city skyline.  Dense clouds of black smoke poured into the air fanned by brisk winds.  Ladder pumpers sprayed water over the fire and two helicopters from the National Guard dumped water from overhead.

Paula, Adam, and Xavier were here for a week visiting.  Our great event was rock painting and talking.  Adam even painted a few rocks which I've included.  The highlight was a trip to Arkansas to pick up rocks!  Loads of fun!
