We are enamoured with the Rat Terrier breed, and after several people asking about the availability of puppies by Jiggs; we decided we had room in our hearts and our home for another Rat Terrier. My daughter wanted a small dog of her own (Jiggs belongs to my son), so we set about acquiring a pup for my daughter.
We found another breeder, Kenann Country Kennels, who used similar lines to Lisa Sands (Jigg's breeder) and we agreed on a puppy from Sands Poetry In Motion who was bred to Desert High's Deep and Wide. The resulting puppy is Misty.
She is a funny, funny girl; with an amazing sense of humour. She also has the same attitude as Jiggs; with regards to be up for anything and everything, the humans are interested in. She has been on several long car trips and handles herself with amazing aplomb; just taking everything in stride. Her build is quite a bit thicker than Jiggs; so I am hopeful that when they have pups down the road (after all health tests and Misty is mature), we will have a nice blend of Jigg's refinement, with Misty's strength.

Lyric and Gunner compliment each other very well, both in temperament and in physical conformation. Gunner has long legs and a more refined physique than Lyric. Lyric is a chunky monkey. She is solid muscle though. Since Gunner is a couple of inches taller than her, we are hoping that puppies will be middle of the road. Gunner's smaller ears will also tone down Lyric's larger ones in their offspring. On average these puppies should be 14-1/2 inches to 16-1/2 inches at the withers when they mature. Gunner goes to work with his owner and is used to meeting all kinds of people daily. Lyric is more reserved and distrusting by nature. Gunner's personality will give the offspring exactly the right balance. Both Lyric and Gunner have very nice movement and are structurally sound. We're excited to present these precious babies "X"Pressions of the Christmas Season Litter! All of them are bi-colors except for one, Xeno is a tri-color. We also have 4 natural bobtails in this litter. There were two born with full tails and they were docked at 3 days, along with all of them getting dewclaws removed.
