Hi! I'm Mattie the Rattie.  I was dumped by my owners in the night deposit of a shelter with my five puppies.  A rescue took my pups into rescue, but left me in the shelter.  There I languished for a month and nobody came to get me.  When the time came for the shelter to put me to sleep, a wonderful volunteer said I was so sweet and didn't deserve to die...so she got me out of that prison and put me somewhere safe until New Rattitude could come get me.

First walk at my foster home. I was so sad and confused, as you can see from my sad, sad eyes.

I am a nice size girl who weighs 23 pounds.  But my foster mom says I need to get my "baby weight" off so that I can get down to a willowy 18 to 20 pounds.  I can't wait to be slim and feel so much lighter and energetic!

After only a few days in my foster home I have a bright outlook on life...and that is reflected in my bright happy eyes!
I got a New Rattitude!!
Life is good!

Thanks to you and your husband for opening up your home to Adam and Mattie. They truly look very happy. You are a blessing to our shelter and the Rat Terriers that find themselves there.
