9.Korea Ski TripTeachers from Korea International School traveled 2 1/2 to the beautiful Yongpyeong Ski Resort to spend a day skiing, snowboarding, using the sauna room, taking the Gondola to the top of the mountain and hiking. What beautiful views!

11.China's VeniceThe Sound of Music Asia company traveling Asia until April 2005 had a day trip to Suzhou & Zhouzhuag, China. Suzhou, about 1 1/2 hours outside of Shanghai, is known for its fabulous array of gardens going back ot the Qing dynasty. Zhouzhuang is an ancient water town best seen by gondola. Join Adriana, "Brigitta", as she tours these cities. |

12.China DalianShenyang was 'The Sound of Music' International Tour 3rd city in China after Shanghai and Beijing. Shenyang is pleasent but not extremely touristy. So Adriana (Brigitta) and Greg (Kurt) took a week end to enjoy the sea side city of Dalian, China. |

13.ULLEUNGDO KOREAAs Teachers of Korea International School, Cheusok Holiday was our first full week of vacation enabling us to see some sites in Korea. We decided to take the 3 hour car trip to the East Coast Beaches, hop on the 2 1/2 hour ferry to the Volcanic Island of Ulleung-do for a car tour of the island. The tremendously winding roads high above the cliffs and ocean are only for those who have no fear of heights. A boat tour of the island is a must and provides a relaxing view of the majesty of the island. We then rested on the East coast at the beautiful Mangsang Beach.

15.Living in KoreaAdriana and I loved Asia so much during her year performing as Brigitta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music Asia Tour that we decided to return. And what a wonderful way to return. Her mother was blessed to get a teaching job as an Algebra teacher at Korea International School, an international private school just outside Seoul, Korea. School just began Aug. 12th so many more photos to come. In a few weeks we will be traveling to Jeju Island so check back for more photos later. In the meantime, check out our previous album "The Sound of Music in Korea" to see some highlights of the country. |

20.Seoul - Korean Folk VillageOn an off day, a few members of The Sound of Music Tour, took off to see the Korean Folk Village. A village is about 2 hours from Seoul by subway or train. At the village there are many representations of farmer's, peasant's & manor's houses from different provinces & parts of Korea. |

21.ChristmasSound of Music mothers, Stephanie and Deborah, join together with Sound of Music chaperone, Thomas and his family to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas day. |

22.Alaska TourSummer trip 2006 for Adriana and Mum. Flight to Anchorage. Bicycling around Anchorage along the Coastal Trail. On to Princess Cruise 8 day trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, then Amtrak to Salem to visit nephew and niece, a side trip to the Oregon coast near Lincoln City. Then onto the overnight Amtrak Train that boards at 8:00am and ends in Los Angeles at 9:00pm the next day. Afterwards a midnight flight back home to Houston. What a wonderful trip. We are blessed. |

24.HOUSTON GRAND OPERAWhat fun .. Young Adriana and Greg from the 2004-2005 Sound of Music Asia Tour reunite to participate and sing in Houston Grand Opera's presentation of BORIS GODUNOV. All singers had to learn to sing in Russian. All the children who participated had a wonderful time and many are looking forward to doing Carmen in the Spring. |

Today, Katerina (understudy for Marta) and Adriana took off for the Shanghai Aquarium. Wow. Many fish were so different then they had ever seen. And the Aquarium with escalators under water is tops in Asia.
